- Greater tuberosity: supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor insertions site.
- Intertubercular groove: long head of biceps tendon runs throught it.
- Humeral head: average 23mm radius; 19mm thickness; center is offset 7mm medially and 2mm posterior to humeral axis; retroverted 19 degrees; inclined 41 degrees.
- Lesser tuberosity: subscapularis insertion site.
- Surgical neck: common fracture site.
