Total Joint Infection
- High dose Antibiotic laden cement indicated: >3.6g of antibiotic per 40g cement (typically tobramycin or gentamycin). Antibiotic used should be based on patient's sensitivities. Prepare cement with hand mixing technique to increase porosity and antibiotic elution.
